Phones 4U Idents

Working with Adam & Eve and Phones 4U, Ben Whitehouse directed these beautifully crafted filmic idents to be aired on rotation over the next eight months on Channel 4, Film 4 and E4, with a sponsor deal reported in Campaign magazine to run to a seven figure sum.

The idents allowed Ben to explore a wide range of film genres from gangster to thriller, period to femme fatal, but all with a comedy twist. Ben's attention to detail in his work is clear from all to see in these films, as each genre was painstakingly planned and shot for authenticity to give them all the Hollywood look and feel. The idents were intended to make the audience believe that they were actually watching a feature film, before the artists surprisingly break from the scene to ask if they can upgrade with Phone 4U.

Shot on location in London and West Sussex over two days, the idents were shot on the Arri Alexa using anamorphic lenses.
